Acceptable Use Policy
Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: August 16, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs how you may use Try This Skill ("Service"), an AI-powered content creation platform. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this policy.
This AUP complements our Terms of Service §4 and should be read together with it. In the event of a conflict, the more restrictive provision applies.
1. Prohibited Content
You agree not to use the Service to generate, upload, or distribute:
1.1 Sexual, adult, or NSFW content — ZERO TOLERANCE
- Sexually explicit, pornographic, or NSFW content of any kind.
- Sexually suggestive, provocative, teasing, or "ecchi" content, even if not legally pornographic.
- Content depicting or targeting minors in any sexual, suggestive, or exploitative context.
1.2 Real people & identity manipulation
- Face-swap, deepfake, non-consensual identity manipulation, or any AI that recreates a real person's likeness (including public figures, celebrities, politicians, and private individuals) without their explicit written consent.
- Content targeting political figures, public officials, or private individuals for harassment, defamation, impersonation, extortion, or malicious disinformation.
1.3 Violence, hate & harm
- Violent, gory, hateful, racist, discriminatory, harassing, or terrorist content.
- Content that promotes illegal activity, self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or substance abuse.
1.4 Copyright & IP violations
- Copyrighted fictional characters (e.g., Disney, Marvel, DC, Studio Ghibli, anime IPs, video game protagonists) or branded content, unless you hold an explicit license to create derivative works.
- Content that infringes on any third party's trademark, trade dress, patent, trade secret, publicity right, privacy right, or copyright.
- Content you do not otherwise have the legal right to create or distribute.
1.5 System abuse
- Attempting to bypass moderation (prompt obfuscation, typo-splitting, jailbreaks, multi-step circumvention).
- Scraping, credential stuffing, DDoS, credit farming, reselling credits without authorization, or reverse engineering beyond normal API use.
2. Content Moderation (Automated + Fail Closed)
All text prompts submitted for image and video generation are automatically screened by the Creem Moderation API before any model is called.
- Decision handling:
allow— proceeds to generation.denyorflag— the request is blocked; no generation occurs.- Fail closed (compliance requirement): If the Creem Moderation service is unavailable, times out, or errors, the platform rejects the request by default. Prompts are not routed to models when moderation cannot be verified.
- Audit trail: Moderation decision IDs, reasons, and timestamps are retained with generation records for compliance audits (aligned with our 30-day retention policy described in the Privacy Policy).
3. Consequences of Violations
Violations of this policy may result in any of the following, at our sole discretion:
- Immediate rejection of your generation request.
- A warning with explanation.
- Suspension or permanent termination of your account.
- Forfeiture of unused credits without refund.
- Reporting to relevant authorities or platform partners where required by law or compliance obligations.
