Try This Skill ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information when you use Try This Skill (the "Service"), and the rights available to you.

Please read this Policy carefully before using the Service. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. We may update this Policy periodically and will notify you of material changes via email or in-product notice.

2. Personal Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Account Info: email address, username, display name, and profile details (password stored encrypted).
• Generation Inputs: images and text prompts you upload to use our AI skills. These are processed by our AI providers to produce results.
• Payment Info: transaction amount and payment status. Full card numbers are not stored by us — card data is processed by our payment processor Waffo Pancake (see Section 5).
• Communications: emails, support tickets, and feedback you send us.

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically

• Device & Network: IP address, device model, operating system, browser type, time zone.
• Account IP Records: We record the IP address used when you register (kept while your account is active and deleted when you delete your account) and the IP address together with the timestamp of each successful login (kept for 3 months and then automatically deleted). We use these records for account security (e.g., detecting suspicious sign-ins) and to understand the approximate region our users come from.
• Usage Data: pages visited, skills used, generation history, feature usage, session duration.
• Log Data: request timestamps, error logs, performance metrics.

We may aggregate or anonymize data for statistical purposes. Such data cannot be linked to any individual.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and for security. We do not use advertising cookies.

5. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information, including as defined under applicable laws such as the CCPA. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: cloud, payment, support, and analytics vendors, bound by confidentiality. Payment card data is processed exclusively by our PCI-DSS certified payment processor, Waffo Pancake (acting as Merchant of Record), and is not stored on our servers. Waffo Pancake directly collects and stores your card data in their PCI-DSS compliant environment; we never see, receive, or store your credit card number, CVV, or expiry date.
• AI Providers: third-party AI model providers process your prompts and images to generate results. We are an independent product and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any model provider brand. (See also our Terms of Service §4.1.)
• Brevo: delivers transactional emails (e.g., email verification).
• Legal Requirements: where required by law, court order, or a lawful regulatory request.
• Business Transactions: in a merger, acquisition, or similar event, with advance notice and continued protections.
• With Your Consent: for any other purpose, with your explicit prior consent.

5.1 Content Moderation (Transparency)

Text prompts submitted to image and video generation skills are screened by Prompt Sift before any model is called. The purpose is to prevent harmful, illegal, or prohibited content from being generated.

• Rejected prompts (decision = deny or flag where applicable) are not sent to AI providers and no content is generated.
• Fail closed (enforced): If the moderation service is unavailable, times out, or returns an error, prompts are rejected by default to keep the platform compliant — the request will not proceed to model inference.
• Auditing: Moderation decision IDs and reasons are stored alongside generation records for 30 days (aligned with our data retention policy) so we can respond to compliance inquiries.
• Your visibility: Prompt text is the only content submitted to the Moderation API; no additional tracking or profiling is performed on you as a person.

6. Data Security

• Encryption in transit: TLS / HTTPS.
• Secure storage: passwords and sensitive data are encrypted or hashed.
• Access controls: least-privilege principle; staff sign confidentiality agreements.
• Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

In the event of a security incident affecting your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authorities within 72 hours of discovery as required by law. Please keep your credentials secure and do not share them.

9. Marketing & Opt-Out

With your consent, we may send marketing communications about new skills and features via email. You can opt out at any time: click "Unsubscribe" in any email, disable marketing in your account settings, or contact us. Opting out does not affect essential service notifications (e.g., billing, security alerts).

Our servers and partners may be located in multiple regions. For international transfers, we safeguard your data through:

• Data processing agreements incorporating EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where applicable.
• Transfers only to recipients with an equivalent level of protection.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from children below that age. If you believe your child has provided information, contact us immediately at www@im.dog and we will promptly delete it.

12. Third-Party Links & Services

The Service may include links to, or integrations with, third-party services. This Policy applies only to data we directly collect. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices and encourage you to review their policies before use.

For material changes, we will provide at least 15 days' advance notice via platform announcement or your registered email, and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
